Currently serving as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Cipla Health Ltd, Shivam will now lead Cipla’s India business, the company’s largest market, and oversee its next phase of growth.
Shivam has been associated with Cipla Health Ltd for more than 7 years and has played a key role in expanding the company’s consumer healthcare and wellness portfolio. Under his leadership, the business strengthened its presence across multiple product categories, enhanced consumer engagement, and achieved significant growth, emerging as a leading player in the consumer healthcare segment.
Before joining Cipla Health, Shivam served as Chief Business Officer for Dunkin Donuts and the New Business Unit at Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd. During his tenure, he led the turnaround of the Dunkin Donuts business in India and helped establish and scale new business initiatives for the organization.
Earlier, he spent more than a decade at Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), where he held several leadership positions across sales, marketing, category management, and business operations. Among his key responsibilities was leading the Pureit Water Business as General Manager and Business Head, with full profit and loss accountability.
He also played a pivotal role in building HUL’s professional products business from the ground up and managed several important sales and marketing assignments across leading consumer brands and modern trade channels.
Shivam began his career with ITC Ltd as an Area Sales Manager, gaining early experience in sales leadership and market development. Over a career spanning more than 20 years, he has built expertise across FMCG, consumer healthcare, brand management, business strategy, commercial operations, and organizational growth.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, Shivam holds an MBA in Sales and Marketing. He also earned a B.Tech in Ceramics Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi.
With his extensive leadership experience and strong understanding of consumer markets, Shivam is expected to play a crucial role in advancing Cipla’s growth strategy and strengthening its position in the Indian market.
