Satyabrata Mohapatra takes charge as COO at UGRO Capital

In his new position, Mohapatra will focus on driving operational excellence, improving service delivery, and enhancing customer experience across the organization.

Mohapatra has been associated with UGRO Capital for nearly 5 years and most recently served as Head of Operations, Treasury Operations & Customer Experience. During his tenure, he played a key role in building strong operational frameworks, strengthening co-lending processes, and improving customer-centric service delivery.

Before joining UGRO Capital, he worked with Aditya Birla Housing Finance Limited as Central Head – Retail Asset Operations. In this role, he managed banking operations, customer service, regulatory reporting, and process automation initiatives.

Earlier, he served as Vice President and Finance Controller at InCred Financial Services, where he handled financial planning, budgeting, securitization, and regulatory reporting, contributing to the company’s financial governance and operational efficiency.

Mohapatra also spent several years at Reliance Capital, working across financial planning, securitization, and business analytics, gaining extensive experience in lending operations and financial management.

His earlier career includes roles at Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, and ICICI Home Finance Company, where he developed expertise in customer operations, audit, and lending systems.

Mohapatra holds a PGDM in Finance from The ICFAI University Tripura.
