Samsung is preparing to host its 2nd Galaxy Unpacked event of 2026 today, July 22, in London, where the company is expected to introduce its latest foldable smartphones and smartwatches. While Samsung has not officially revealed the product lineup, several reports suggest that multiple new devices will make their debut during the event.
The keynote is scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM BST (6:30 PM IST) and will be streamed live on Samsung’s official website, Newsroom and YouTube channel. The company has also opened registrations for users who want to receive updates, teasers and launch offers ahead of the event.
Samsung is expected to announce 3 foldable smartphones — the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip 8. According to reports, the upcoming devices will combine advanced AI capabilities with upgraded hardware to deliver more personalised and intelligent user experiences.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to feature a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X inner display, a 5.5-inch cover display and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is tipped to arrive with a 5,000mAh battery, 45W wired charging support and a display capable of reaching 3,600 nits of peak brightness. Reports also suggest that the Galaxy Z Flip 8 will receive incremental upgrades, although it could be the final clamshell-style foldable from Samsung.
Alongside the smartphones, Samsung is also expected to launch the Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. The Watch Ultra 2 is rumoured to feature a display with up to 5,000 nits brightness, an 800mAh battery and an IP69K durability rating, while the Galaxy Watch 9 is expected to receive iterative improvements.
Samsung may also offer an early preview of its long-rumoured smart glasses, which are being developed with fashion brands Warby Parker and Gentle Monster as part of the Android XR ecosystem.
