Samsung is reportedly preparing its next-generation Galaxy A-series smartphone, but early camera details suggest that the upcoming Galaxy A38 5G may offer limited hardware changes over previous models. The phone is expected to launch next year as the successor to the Galaxy A37 5G.
According to a new report, the Galaxy A38 5G could retain the same rear camera setup as the Galaxy A37 5G and Galaxy A36. The triple-camera system is tipped to include a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 5-megapixel macro camera.
For selfies and video calls, the handset may feature a 12-megapixel front camera. If the reported details prove accurate, the Galaxy A38 5G may not bring major camera hardware upgrades over its predecessors.
The smartphone is expected to launch alongside the Galaxy A58 5G in March or April next year. Samsung has not confirmed the launch schedule or pricing. However, the upcoming model is expected to cost more than its predecessors.
