RPSG Group has appointed Harshad Jain as Chief Executive Officer of its fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) business, effective October 12. Based at RPSG House, Jain will report directly to the group’s Vice Chairman.
Jain brings over 35 years of leadership experience across consumer businesses, aviation, media and entertainment, and telecommunications. His appointment marks a move from airport infrastructure to the group’s FMCG operations.
Before joining RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, Jain served as CEO, Non Aero, at Adani Airport Holdings. He previously held the position of Joint President, Non Aero. His career also includes senior leadership roles across radio, media and direct-to-consumer services.
Jain has extensive experience in the radio industry. He served as Managing Director and CEO of Radio One, operated by Next Mediaworks, a subsidiary of HT Media. He also worked as CEO and Business Head at Fever FM, where he managed profit and loss operations for 22 stations across 6 metropolitan markets and the Uttar Pradesh cluster.
Earlier, Jain worked with Bharti Airtel as Head of Sales and Marketing for Airtel DTH Services and as Senior Vice-President, Sales, for its DTH business. His responsibilities included sales planning, distribution expansion, modern trade, direct sales and multi-dwelling unit operations.
Jain also served as Chief Marketing Officer at World Space. In this role, he led brand positioning, marketing strategy, advertising, public relations, customer retention, customer service, content marketing, pricing and revenue management.
His appointment brings extensive expertise in business leadership, sales, marketing, distribution and operational management to RPSG Group’s FMCG business.
