A new budget smartphone from Realme is likely to arrive in India soon, as leaks suggest the launch of the Realme C81 could be just around the corner.
While the company has not officially confirmed the device, recent reports indicate that the Realme C81 will focus on practical features such as battery life, display size, and durability, rather than high-end performance or advanced camera capabilities.
The leaked details suggest the smartphone may be available in 2 variants — 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB. It is also expected to launch in Glacier Blue Asia and Storm Black Asia colour options.
The device is reportedly listed under model number RMX5388. This is the same model number linked to the Realme Note 80, which has already been introduced in some global markets. This hints that the Realme C81 could be a rebranded version of the Note 80 for India, following Realme’s usual regional strategy.
If the specifications remain unchanged, the phone could feature a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 563 nits. It is expected to be powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset, paired with 4GB RAM, and may run on Android 15 with Realme UI on top.
On the battery front, the device is likely to include a 6,300mAh battery with 15W charging support. It may also come with MIL-STD-810H certification, indicating enhanced durability.
For cameras, the Realme C81 is expected to offer an 8-megapixel rear sensor and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
With its focus on essential features, the Realme C81 is likely to target users looking for an affordable and durable smartphone option.
