Shashank Kumar, the founder of Razorpay, highlighted the ease and speed this brings to daily transactions. To utilize this feature, users need to install the Razorpay MCP server and configure an MCP-compatible client like Claude Desktop, VS Code, or Cursor. After setup, AI assistants can perform real-time payment actions effortlessly.

The MCP, created by Anthropic, is an open standard that enables AI systems to interact with external tools and data in a structured and consistent way.
