The proposed acquisition of Nagarro by Persistent Systems is expected to strengthen enterprise AI transformation by combining the strengths of both companies.

According to Manas Human, Co-Founder and CEO of Nagarro, the AI era requires greater scale, stronger engineering capabilities and broader expertise to help enterprises manage increasingly complex digital transformation initiatives.

Human said the combined organization will become an AI-led digital engineering company with nearly 46,000 employees across more than 40 countries and an annual revenue run rate of around $2.9 billion. The merged business will bring together capabilities across AI, cloud, digital engineering, enterprise applications, customer experience and data-driven modernization.

He added that the combined entity will be better equipped to deliver large-scale AI transformation projects for global enterprises while creating greater value for customers, employees and shareholders. The partnership is also expected to expand its global presence, particularly across Europe and North America, enabling stronger end-to-end digital transformation services.

The proposed deal remains subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions. Once completed, the combined organization is expected to serve more than 350 enterprise customers across sectors including banking, healthcare, manufacturing, automotive and technology.
