PepsiCo India is expanding its manufacturing network with a fresh investment of ₹5,700 crore across Madhya Pradesh, Assam, and Tamil Nadu. The company said the move is aimed at meeting rising consumer demand and strengthening product availability across key markets in India.

The expansion plans include a new concentrates plant in Madhya Pradesh and a snacks manufacturing unit in Assam, both of which are expected to begin operations within the next few months. In Tamil Nadu, the company’s recent land acquisition is expected to support a major increase in snack production capacity.

PepsiCo India CEO Jagrut Kotecha said the investment is focused on growing the company’s presence in important regional markets and supporting future demand growth.

The company also reported strong financial performance over the last year, recording another phase of double-digit growth. PepsiCo India posted revenue of ₹9,789 crore and profits of ₹905 crore.

Chief Financial Officer Savitha Balachandran highlighted the company’s strong financial position, stating that PepsiCo India currently holds cash reserves of more than ₹1,600 crore, which will support its ongoing expansion plans.

India continues to remain one of PepsiCo’s largest global markets due to its stable economy and long-term growth opportunities. Through these new investments and manufacturing expansions, the company aims to strengthen its market position and maintain steady supply across the country.
