Pax8, a leading cloud commerce marketplace, has appointed Craig Foster as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In his new role, Foster will be responsible for steering the company’s financial strategy, ensuring sustainable growth, and optimizing innovation. His expertise will play a critical role in shaping financial governance, capitalizing on growth opportunities, and scaling operations to meet Pax8’s rapidly expanding business needs. Foster will report directly to Scott Chasin, CEO of Pax8.
Scott Chasin shared his enthusiasm, saying: “With Craig’s extensive financial leadership in the tech industry and investment banking experience, he is the perfect fit for this role. We are thrilled to have Craig join Pax8 as part of the global leadership team. As Pax8 continues our rapid growth trajectory, we expect him to make a lasting impact on our future success.”
Foster brings a wealth of experience to Pax8, with 25 years of expertise spanning finance, operations, and capital markets. He has previously served as the CFO for several high-profile public and private technology companies, including Ubiquiti, Bright Machines, and Financial Engines. Most recently, he was the CFO of PicsArt, a consumer software company. Additionally, Foster’s background includes key roles in investment banking with Credit Suisse, UBS, and RBC Capital Markets, where he focused on enterprise software. He holds an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of Business and a BA in Economics from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD).
Foster expressed his excitement about joining Pax8, stating: “I am thrilled to join Pax8 at such an exciting time for the company and the industry. My entire career has been spent working with software technology companies, sales channels, and complex marketplaces, so I feel extremely fortunate to be joining an organization that unifies all of these into a single operating model.”
Pax8’s leadership is confident that Foster’s appointment will drive the company to even greater heights as it continues its innovative journey in the cloud commerce space.
