Orion First, a prominent provider of commercial loan and lease servicing, has named Jenny Dubinsky, CPA, as its new chief financial officer (CFO). Dubinsky, who previously held an executive role at Orion, is rejoining the company during a crucial phase of growth and innovation investment.
Before her departure in 2022 for another leadership role, Dubinsky was the senior vice president of contract operations at Orion First. Her return underscores the company’s commitment to solidifying its reputation as a leading commercial servicer. As 2024 approaches, Orion is set to achieve significant milestones, including exceeding 100 employees, managing $6 billion in assets, and expanding its portfolio of sophisticated clients. The company is dedicated to scaling its operations, automating processes for greater efficiency, and improving experiences for both clients and customers.
“We are excited to welcome Jenny back as CFO,” said Mark Johnson, who was recently named CEO of Orion First. “Her deep understanding of our business and customers, financial expertise, passion for efficiency, and hands-on leadership will be invaluable as we execute our growth strategy — scaling our infrastructure, investing in automation, and ensuring that Orion remains a fulfilling and rewarding place to work.”
Dubinsky expressed enthusiasm for returning to the Orion team at this critical stage.
“I’m passionate about strategic financial planning and making sure our clients have a strong back-office solution partner they can rely on,” she said. “Orion First has built something pretty special in both its solutions and its team. I’m excited to be back.”
Dubinsky’s hiring marks the first external executive addition since Johnson took over as CEO in December 2024. She will be part of Orion First’s Executive Leadership Team, joining President Quinten Cote, Chief Operating and Technology Officer Paul Marcoe, and Chief Experience Officer Jenny Wood, who was recently elevated under Johnson’s guidance. Johnson replaced Founder Dave Schaefer, who now serves as the company’s chairman.
Dubinsky’s role highlights Orion First’s dedication to strengthening its leadership team in alignment with Johnson’s vision for the company’s upcoming growth, innovation, and client success.
