OnePlus is preparing to expand its performance-focused smartphone lineup in China, with the upcoming Ace 7 series set to combine flagship processors with dedicated cooling technology. Ahead of the launch, the company has revealed the designs and colour options of the OnePlus Ace 7 and OnePlus Ace 7 Pro.
OnePlus Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro design and colours
The company showcased both smartphones through posts on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo. The standard OnePlus Ace 7 will be available in 3 colours: Tempered, Midnight Black and Radiant White, with the names translated from Chinese.
The OnePlus Ace 7 Pro will also come in 3 finishes: Windbreaker, Midnight Black and Radiant White.
Official images show both models featuring a square-shaped camera island in the top-left corner of the rear panel. Its design resembles the camera module on the flagship OnePlus 16.
The camera module includes 2 lenses arranged vertically inside a pill-shaped section. A 3rd lens and what appears to be a vent grille for the active cooling fan sit outside this section but within the square island. An LED flash is positioned to the right of the module. The power and volume buttons are visible along the right edge of the phones.
Expected performance and cooling features
OnePlus has confirmed that the 2 smartphones will use different versions of Qualcomm’s flagship processor. The standard Ace 7 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V series chipset, while the Ace 7 Pro will use the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
Both models will also include the company’s Wind-Chaser Gaming engine and an integrated cooling fan with a dual-airflow design.
According to OnePlus, the cooling system is designed to manage heat during extended gaming sessions. It uses separate airflow paths to cool the chipset and the rear panel, helping maintain performance during demanding gameplay.
Launch date and pre-orders
OnePlus has confirmed that the Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro will launch in China on October 29. Pre-orders for both smartphones are already open in the country.
