Fresh reports suggest that OnePlus and Oppo could leave India out of the launch plans for their next flagship smartphones. According to a recent tip, the OnePlus 16 and Oppo Find X10 Ultra may not be introduced in the Indian market, while another Oppo flagship could arrive in the country at a later stage.
The latest claim also points to the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max as a possible flagship offering for India in 2027. However, neither company has officially confirmed these details, and the information should be treated as a leak.
The Oppo Find X10 Pro Max is expected to feature a 2K flat LTPO OLED display with a high refresh rate. It may also include a 200-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilisation and a 1/1.3-inch sensor. The camera system is further tipped to include a 200-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with optical image stabilisation and telemacro support, and a 50-megapixel multispectral sensor.
The handset could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset and may pack a battery with a capacity between 8,000mAh and 9,000mAh. Other expected features include an IP69 rating, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and a Snap Key.
The report follows earlier speculation that OnePlus might reduce its presence outside China. The company had previously clarified that it would discontinue new product launches in North America and Europe while continuing operations in India.
If the latest leak proves accurate, India may also be excluded from the launch markets for the OnePlus 16. Earlier reports suggest the OnePlus 16 could debut in China in the fourth quarter of 2026 with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset, a 185Hz display, a battery of around 9,000mAh, and a 200-megapixel telephoto camera.
The Oppo Find X10 Ultra is also rumoured to feature 2 telephoto cameras, including a 50-megapixel periscope camera with 10x optical zoom and a 200-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
