As demand for intelligent road safety solutions grows, Netradyne India is strengthening its presence in the commercial vehicle sector through discussions with leading vehicle manufacturers and the expansion of its AI-powered fleet safety platform.
The company is currently in talks with 3 of the 4 major internal combustion engine (ICE) commercial vehicle manufacturers in India. It has already signed agreements with 3 electric vehicle OEMs operating in the commercial vehicle segment.
Netradyne is presently focused on commercial fleets, a market that offers an opportunity of nearly 3 million vehicles within India’s organised sector. However, the company is also monitoring the passenger vehicle segment due to increasing interest in its technology.
Backed by investors including Reliance Industries and SoftBank, the US-based company provides AI-powered fleet safety solutions and video telematics aimed at reducing road accidents. With operations across North America, Europe and Asia, the company expects India to become one of its fastest-growing markets.
Netradyne currently has its technology deployed in nearly 30,000 vehicles across India and plans to add another 30,000 vehicles during the year. The company expects its India business to grow by more than 100% year-on-year, while targeting global growth of 35% to 40%.
According to available reports, the company recorded revenue of approximately Rs. 293 crore in FY25, compared to Rs. 227.97 crore in the previous fiscal year, reflecting a growth of 29%.
The company is also evaluating new AI-driven capabilities to enhance road safety. These include weather-based safety systems that can recommend lower speed limits during heavy rain, fog, or snow, as well as advanced predictive driver fatigue detection technology designed to identify signs of drowsiness before a driver falls asleep.
Based on customer-reported data, fleet operators using the platform have seen accident rates decline by up to 50%. The company also reported reductions of 80% to 85% in alert rates and up to 95% in distracted driving incidents.
With growing adoption of AI-powered safety technologies and increasing partnerships with vehicle manufacturers, Netradyne is positioning itself as a key player in India’s evolving smart mobility and road safety ecosystem.
