In his new role, Nanda will work closely with global business leaders to drive strategic HR initiatives, enhance organisational capability and support enterprise-wide transformation across key business units. His appointment marks a significant step in his long-standing journey with the organisation.
Nanda Kumar has spent close to 10 years at ABB, contributing consistently to its global HR agenda. Most recently, he served for over 5 years as Global HR – Leadership Learning Coach. In this role, he played a key part in building leadership capability, designing impactful learning journeys and advancing global talent development initiatives.
Earlier, he worked as Learning Partner – India and South Asia, where he drove regional learning strategies and strengthened workforce capability. Before that, as Compensation & Benefit Manager – Asia & ANZ, he led reward frameworks and compensation strategies across multiple geographies, enhancing employee value proposition and organisational competitiveness.
Prior to joining ABB, Nanda Kumar was Senior HR Business Partner – Technology Augmentation at Accolite India. There, he supported business growth through HR partnership, talent strategy and organisational development in a fast-paced technology environment.
Earlier in his career, he spent over 8 years at Target, holding roles such as Senior Lead – Corporate HR, Subject Matter Expert – HR and Senior Executive HR. During this period, he built strong expertise across HR operations, business partnering and talent management.
He began his professional journey at Fidelity Investments, working in benefits and HR operations, which laid the foundation for his career in human resources.
