Motorola has officially confirmed that the Edge 70 Max will launch in India soon, with a dedicated microsite now live. The upcoming smartphone will become the 5th model in the Edge 70 series, joining the Edge 70, Edge 70 Pro, Edge 70 Fusion and Edge 70 Pro+.
The microsite confirms the arrival of the Motorola Edge 70 Max and offers an early look at its design. The smartphone is shown with a flat rear panel and a square-shaped camera module positioned in the top-left corner. It also appears to feature a flat display, unlike the curved design seen on the Pro and Pro+ models.
The handset is expected to include a triple rear camera setup along with an LED flash. The power button and volume keys are placed on the right side, while the left edge houses an additional button, which is expected to function as the Moto AI Key.
Motorola claims the Edge 70 Max will deliver 46% improved NPU performance for AI-related tasks. The company has also confirmed support for wireless charging, making it only the 2nd smartphone in the Edge 70 lineup to offer this feature after the Edge 70 Pro+.
Recent leaked marketing material suggests the smartphone could be available in Glacier Blue, Onyx Black and Sage Green colour options.
The Motorola Edge 70 Max is also expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, unlike the Edge 70 Pro+, which uses a MediaTek processor. The triple rear camera system is expected to include a primary sensor, a telephoto camera and an ultra-wide lens.
Motorola is expected to reveal more details about the smartphone, including its complete specifications, pricing and launch date, in the coming days.
