Yubi has elevated Mitesh Nijhara to Head HR – Banking, expanding his leadership responsibilities within the company.
In his new role, he will lead the people strategy for Yubi’s banking business, focusing on talent management, organizational development, leadership capability, employee engagement, workforce planning, and HR transformation to support the company’s continued growth across the financial services ecosystem.
With more than 17 years of experience across fintech, edtech, automotive, healthcare, logistics, and manufacturing, Mitesh has built strong expertise in HR business partnering, organizational transformation, talent strategy, employee relations, and leadership development.
During his more than 3-year journey at Yubi, Mitesh has taken on progressively larger leadership roles. Prior to this elevation, he served as Head HR – Collections, where he led the people strategy for the collections business, driving workforce effectiveness, employee engagement, organizational capability, and talent initiatives as the company expanded its AI-powered financial services platform.
Before joining Yubi, Mitesh spent more than 3 years at BYJU’S, progressing from Assistant Vice President – HR to Deputy Vice President – HR. During his tenure, he played a key role in HR business partnering, talent management, leadership development, and organizational transformation.
Earlier, he served as Senior Manager – HR at CARS24, supporting talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and HR operations during the company’s rapid expansion. He also held the position of HR Manager at HCL Healthcare India, leading HR initiatives to strengthen workforce capability and business growth.
His earlier career includes roles as HR Business Partner at FedEx Express, Assistant Manager – HR & IR at Delhi Cargo Service Center Private Limited, and Assistant Manager – HR at Hindusthan National Glass & Industries Limited, where he developed expertise in industrial relations, HR operations, and workforce management.
