Meta is expanding its subscription business with a new service designed to bring enhanced AI capabilities and additional tools to its social media platforms. The company has launched “Meta One” across Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp, with more than 15 million subscriptions and trials recorded during its phased rollout.
The service is designed to provide more than 50 features focused on content creation, audience engagement and business management across Meta’s platforms.
Monthly plans will start at $2.99 for individual products, while individual bundles will cost $7.99. Creator and business bundles will be priced at $14.99.
Individual products, including WhatsApp Plus and Instagram Plus, will offer app-specific features. Individual bundles will combine these benefits with advanced AI capabilities.
Creator and business bundles will include professional tools such as verification, advanced analytics and enhanced support across Meta’s social media platforms.
The subscription service is expected to help Meta diversify its revenue beyond digital advertising and generate additional income from its large user base. Earlier this year, the company recorded an average of 3.60 billion daily active people across its family of apps.
Meta said core app features and basic Meta AI access will continue to remain free.
“We’ll continue to add features and agent skills built to help small businesses and creators with end-to-end marketing, business operations, content creation, and optimization,” Meta said in a blog post.
The company also said Meta One will soon expand to Edits and its AI glasses, extending the subscription offering to more of its products.
