Bengaluru: E-commerce platform Meesho has appointed former McKinsey & Company professional Ravi Goel as Chief of Staff in the CEO’s Office. He assumed the role in August 2026 and is based in Bengaluru.
From McKinsey to Meesho
Mr Goel spent over a decade at McKinsey & Company, where he worked across several roles before moving to Meesho.
His most recent position at the consulting firm was Expert (Engagement Manager), Tech and AI, a role he held from July 2023 to July 2026. Before that, he worked as a Specialist in Digital and Analytics and held earlier positions including Senior Analyst, Analyst and Junior Analyst.
Over the course of his McKinsey career, his work covered areas including technology transformation, digital strategy, analytics and IT benchmarking.
Experience across sectors
Mr Goel’s professional experience also includes early-career stints across consulting, infrastructure and the power sector.
Before joining McKinsey, he had worked with organisations including PwC India, Trident Techlabs, Delhi Transco, the Ministry of Defence and Indraprastha Power Generation Company.
His earlier assignments gave him exposure to areas spanning power generation and distribution, transmission, infrastructure and sector research.
Joining Meesho’s CEO Office
In his new role, Mr Goel will be part of the CEO’s Office, a function that typically works across strategic priorities, business initiatives and cross-functional execution.
His background in technology and AI comes as businesses increasingly place greater emphasis on using technology to improve efficiency, decision-making and scale.
The appointment also marks Mr Goel’s move from a consulting environment into an operating role, where he will work within Meesho on its business and strategic priorities.
