Maroga brings over 20 years of experience across corporate affairs, sustainability, social investment, public policy, stakeholder engagement, and employee engagement.
In her new role, Maroga will lead the Brand and Impact function, a strategic pillar aimed at strengthening community connections and enhancing brand relevance in the South African market. She will oversee the company’s societal impact agenda, sustainability initiatives, corporate brand and communications, and support the work of Ronald McDonald House Charities South Africa.
Prior to this, she served as Corporate Affairs Director at HEINEKEN Beverages, where she led corporate affairs, government and stakeholder relations, sustainability, reputation-building, internal communication, and employee engagement initiatives.
Earlier, Maroga was Head of the Old Mutual Foundation at Old Mutual South Africa, where she drove social investment strategies and programmes across skills development, enterprise development, education, and staff volunteerism.
She also held corporate affairs and public policy roles at South African Breweries and SAB, contributing across regulatory affairs, corporate social investment, enterprise development, alcohol policy strategy, stakeholder engagement, and responsible alcohol use initiatives.
