Silvio will relocate from Switzerland to the United States to take on the role. Marc Winterhoff, who has been serving as interim CEO, will move into the position of Chief Operating Officer once Napoli assumes charge.
Before joining Lucid Motors, Napoli spent more than 30 years at Schindler Group, holding a wide range of senior leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Executive Chairman & CEO. He also held positions as Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Supervisory and Strategy Committee. Earlier, he served as CEO of the group, building strong experience in global operations, strategy, and governance.
Prior to becoming CEO, he was a Member of the Schindler Group Executive Committee (APAC), reflecting his leadership across key international markets. His broader career included roles across Europe, India, South-East Asia, China, and America, highlighting extensive cross-regional experience in multinational business leadership.
Alongside his executive roles, Napoli has been a member of the Board of Directors at Eaton since 2019, strengthening his governance credentials. He also served as Chairman & President of the Board of Directors at the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce, reflecting his involvement in international business and transatlantic relations.
Napoli holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and is a Fulbright Scholar, adding strong academic distinction to his leadership profile.
His appointment comes at a key moment for Lucid Motors as the company continues to focus on electric vehicle innovation and the broader shift toward clean energy.
