The move reflects the company’s focus on building a future-ready, digitally enabled people organisation aligned with its global growth ambitions.
In his expanded role, Loïc will lead people strategy across Finance, Digital, and Global Capability Centers (GCCs). His focus will include organisational transformation, talent strategy, and capability building to support Opella’s evolving business model and innovation agenda.
Loïc has been with Opella for over 5 years, progressing through key leadership roles. Most recently, as People Director, Western Europe, he led HR strategy across markets including the UK, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg, driving regional alignment and strengthening organisational capabilities.
Earlier, as People Director, France, he managed HR for a large consumer healthcare business with around 1,600 employees across commercial, industrial, R&D, and global support functions. He led HR transformation, workforce planning, and social relations, while aligning people strategy with business performance.
Before joining Opella, Loïc spent over 5 years at Sanofi, where he held multiple HR leadership roles. As Lead HR France – Finance & Business Transformation, he supported global functions such as finance, procurement, and shared services, driving transformation initiatives across multi-site operations. He also served as HR Business Partner for R&D and Industrial Affairs in the vaccines business.
He began his career at Areva and Caisse d’Epargne, building a strong foundation in HR development, labour law, recruitment, and performance management.
With experience across global markets and complex business environments, Loïc brings strong expertise in talent strategy, transformation, and organisational development to his new global role.
