Logitech has introduced the MX Keypad in India as its first customisable AI control centre. The new keypad is designed to help users manage daily AI workflows and will compete with Codex Micro, a dedicated customisable keyboard for OpenAI Codex unveiled in July.
The Logitech MX Keypad is priced at Rs. 15,999 and will be sold through the company’s India online store. It comes in a single Graphite colour option. The company has not revealed the exact sale date yet. It includes a 1-year limited hardware warranty, while buyers will also receive 3 months of GitHub Copilot Pro+ at no additional cost.
The keypad features 9 customisable LCD keys and 2 navigation buttons placed below them. Users can configure the keys based on their AI workflows through the Logi Options+ App, which is available through the company’s website. The LCD keys can also change based on the active AI tool.
The Logitech MX Keypad works with devices running Windows 10 or newer and macOS 13 or newer. Supported tools include Visual Studio Code, GitHub Copilot, IntelliJ IDEA, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Zoom, Spotify, Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Notion, Slack, Figma, Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve and OBS Studio.
The company says the device is built for developers and uses recycled plastic in its construction.
The Logitech MX Keypad measures 91.7 x 77.9 x 25.5mm and weighs about 96g. Its stand measures 112.7 x 58.5 x 20.5mm and weighs about 61g.
