J.S. Held, a technical and forensic advisory firm based in Jericho, New York, has appointed Irvinder Singh Lail as Head of Global Capability. Based in Gurgaon, India, he brings over 25 years of experience in operational transformation, talent strategy, and Six Sigma process improvement across professional services, financial services, and technology organizations.
In his new role, Singh Lail will lead the expansion of J.S. Held’s global service model and strengthen how teams collaborate across different time zones. He will also focus on growing centers of expertise and standardizing shared platforms to improve operational efficiency.
J.S. Held operates across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific regions and also has an office in Mumbai, India.

Before joining J.S. Held, Singh Lail was with Alvarez & Marsal, where he helped establish the firm’s Global Capability Center in India. Earlier, he served as Senior Director in Bain & Company’s Global Business Services practice in India. He also held the position of Director in the Financial Services Advisory practice at EY India.
He holds an MBA from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies and a bachelor’s degree in computers from Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya.
