Expanding its gaming smartphone lineup, Infinix is preparing to launch its next-generation device, bringing upgraded performance features and cooling technology to global markets.
The upcoming Infinix GT 50 Pro will debut on April 24 in select international regions. The device succeeds the Infinix GT 30 Pro, which was launched in India in June last year.
The company has also revealed key design and feature details ahead of launch. The phone will feature a flat AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It will also support up to 144 fps gaming on select titles, targeting mobile gaming users.
A key highlight is the “Pressure-Sense GT Trigger,” a set of pressure-sensitive shoulder buttons placed on the right side of the device. These are designed to enhance gaming control and responsiveness. On the left side, the device will include a ZoneTouch Master button for additional in-game functionality.
For audio, the smartphone will support Hi-Res audio for both wired and wireless headphones, along with Dolby Atmos support for immersive sound output.
Thermal performance is another major focus. The device will include a liquid cooling system visible through the back panel. This is designed to reduce overheating during heavy gaming and sustained performance sessions while preventing throttling.
The phone will also feature a dual rear camera setup placed in a rectangular module alongside an LED flash. It is expected to launch in at least two colour options, including silver and red variants, though final marketing names have not yet been confirmed.
Additional design elements include a hole-punch display cutout for the front camera, along with standard power and volume buttons on the right side.
According to reports, the device may feature a 6.78-inch display and be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset. It is also expected to offer up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
Camera specifications may include a 50-megapixel primary rear sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 13-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
The launch further strengthens Infinix’s focus on gaming-centric smartphones in the mid-premium segment.
