Expanding its AI capabilities, Honor has announced that its YOYO virtual assistant is now the first Android AI agent to integrate the DeepSeek V4.
The company confirmed the rollout of the DeepSeek V4 Pro version within the YOYO AI agent, following its earlier OpenClaw adaptation. With this move, Honor becomes the first smartphone brand to bring DeepSeek’s latest large language model into its ecosystem.
The integration is available through YOYO AI agent app version 90.10.28.041 and will initially be supported on devices running MagicOS 8.0 and above, including both smartphones and tablets.
According to Honor, the upgrade delivers three key improvements—stronger performance, longer contextual understanding, and higher inference efficiency—enhancing how users interact with the assistant.
Users can access the new feature by pressing and holding the power button to activate YOYO, then swiping up and selecting the Explore Page, where a DeepSeek V4 experience banner will appear.
This is not the first collaboration between Honor and DeepSeek, as the company has previously integrated earlier versions of the model into its assistant. However, specific new features enabled by the latest upgrade are yet to be detailed, with further updates expected.
