Rahul Sarda has been appointed Vice President – Data & AI Practice at Hitachi Digital Services, marking a new step in his career across data analytics, artificial intelligence, cloud data platforms and digital transformation.

In his new role, Sarda will focus on scaling Data & AI capabilities, driving enterprise adoption of generative and agentic AI, strengthening strategic partnerships and converting advanced technology into measurable business outcomes.

Before joining Hitachi Digital Services, Sarda held senior leadership roles at Amazon Web Services (AWS), Wipro Limited, Infosys Technologies Ltd and Datamatics.

Across these organisations, he has built and scaled global data and analytics practices, led enterprise AI initiatives, developed technology roadmaps and managed large-scale teams and strategic accounts.

His experience spans data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, cloud platforms, solution architecture and business transformation. This broad expertise positions him to lead the expansion of Data & AI capabilities and support innovation and growth in his new role.
