GoTrust has appointed Umesh Mehta to its Advisory Board, strengthening the company’s leadership as it expands its focus on enterprise AI, data privacy, cybersecurity and governance.
Mehta brings more than 35 years of experience in enterprise IT, digital transformation and technology governance. He has held technology leadership roles across organisations including Maruti Suzuki, Fiat Group, Essar Group, Jubilant Group and PI Group, as well as several global enterprises.
At GoTrust, Mehta will provide strategic guidance on technology innovation, enterprise digital transformation, cybersecurity, governance and business growth. His role will support the company’s efforts to build secure, compliant and AI-ready digital ecosystems.

Mehta has led large-scale technology and transformation initiatives across sectors including automobiles, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, retail and QSR. His experience includes driving digital innovation, building technology strategies and leading multicultural teams across domestic and international markets.
He is also President of the Governing Body of CIO Association, which has more than 3,000 members across 18 chapters in India, UAE, Bangladesh and Indonesia. He is also Co-founder of the Young Digital Manager Association (YDMA), which has more than 1,000 members across 15 chapters.
Over his career, Mehta has received several industry recognitions, including the CIO Sammaan award, CIO Hall of Fame Award by IDG, multiple IDC Insights Awards for Excellence in Innovation, Business Technology Awards, CIO Power List and the Best CTO Award by Dun & Bradstreet.
