In a fresh push toward expanding its technology footprint, Google is exploring new investment opportunities in India focused on artificial intelligence infrastructure and manufacturing.

The development was shared by Ashwini Vaishnaw, who said the company is looking at investments in areas such as server production and drone manufacturing. The announcement came after his meeting with Google officials.

This move follows Google’s recent milestone in Visakhapatnam, where the company broke ground on a $15 billion AI hub in April this year.

“Google is exploring investments in India across AI infrastructure and the manufacturing of servers and drones,” Vaishnaw said in a social media post.

The potential investments highlight India’s growing importance as a key destination for AI-driven development and advanced technology manufacturing.
