The move marks a major step in Sahoo’s career as he transitions from advising enterprises on AI-native transformation strategies to directly shaping and building them within one of the world’s leading innovation ecosystems.
Before joining Google Cloud, Sahoo served as Associate Partner (Data & Tech Transformation) at Bain & Company. In this role, he worked closely with CXOs and technology leaders to drive large-scale AI and data transformation initiatives. His work covered product and platform strategy, architecture, and value realization across sectors including banking and retail.
Earlier, he was Principal – Data Products and Architecture at Boston Consulting Group, where he led complex AI, data, and digital transformation programs across Southeast Asia and India. He played an important role in designing cloud-native platforms, building AI-driven products, and advising enterprise leaders and investors on technology strategy and due diligence.
Prior to his consulting leadership roles, Sahoo worked with Dell EMC as Enterprise Architect – Data & Digital Platforms. During his tenure, he designed scalable data architectures and modernization strategies for global clients.
He also held positions at Infosys, OpenCloud Limited, and Huawei Technologies, where he developed strong expertise in cloud architecture, solution design, and enterprise transformation.
