Gautam brings more than 25 years of experience across private banking, wealth management, and investment banking. Before taking on this role, he joined HSBC Private Bank in December 2023 as Global Coordinator, Global India, Middle East, North Africa and Europe. Prior to HSBC, he held senior leadership positions at international financial institutions, where he led the growth of South Asian and Global India client businesses across Asia.
In his new role, Gautam will lead the Global India private banking franchise, overseeing client coverage across India and major international hubs including Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the UK. His focus will be on delivering integrated and holistic solutions for Global India clients. He will report to Tommy Leung, Head of Private Bank, South Asia, and Aladdin Hangari, Head of Private Bank, MENAT.
