Abhimanyu Bhola will take charge of the company’s insurance business across Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Japan. In this role, he will focus on driving growth, strengthening client partnerships, and advancing Genpact’s position in the evolving regional insurance landscape.
With over 20 years of experience across financial services, technology, and consulting, Bhola brings strong expertise in growth strategy, ecosystem partnerships, and market expansion, positioning him to accelerate Genpact’s insurance business in APAC.
Prior to this, he spent nearly 9 years at EXL, most recently serving as Vice President – Ecosystem Channels (Partnerships, Advisory, Private Equity). In this role, he led growth through strategic alliances with industry partners, advisory firms, and private equity players, enabling cross-sector expansion and strengthening business ecosystems.
Earlier at EXL, he served as Vice President – Growth (Insurance & Health), where he led new business development across Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Singapore, significantly expanding the company’s presence in insurance and healthcare.
Bhola’s earlier experience includes working with CSC as part of the regional sales team for financial services across ANZ, focusing on business development and client acquisition. He also held leadership roles at MphasiS and Mahindra Satyam, where he drove customer engagement and business growth within the financial services sector.
He began his career with Sapient and Satyam, gaining foundational experience in program management, delivery, and client engagement, building expertise in technology-led transformation.
Beyond his corporate role, Bhola serves as President of the NTU Alumni Association (Australia), reflecting his continued involvement in leadership and community initiatives. He holds an MBA in Marketing from Nanyang Business School, further strengthening his strategic and leadership capabilities.
