In her new role, Priya will lead talent management, employee lifecycle, engagement, retention, and people development initiatives. Her appointment marks a significant step in her HR leadership journey across banking, financial services, insurance, and fintech sectors.
Before joining Equitas Small Finance Bank, she served as Assistant General Manager Human Resources at CreditSutra. During her tenure, she played a key role in building and scaling the organisation’s HR function, including developing HR systems, employee engagement frameworks, organisational policies, hiring processes, and grievance management strategies aligned with business goals.
Prior to CreditSutra, she worked as Manager – Human Capital at PROTIUM, where she supported talent and workforce management initiatives within the financial services platform.
Earlier in her career, Priya held HR leadership roles at Tata AIG General Insurance, Indiabulls Housing Finance Ltd, Religare Health Insurance, and Max Life Insurance. Across these organisations, she gained extensive experience in employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, branch HR operations, employee welfare, grievance handling, and organisational capability development.
She also completed HR internships with Titan Company Limited and Future Group, which helped build the foundation of her people management expertise.
With more than 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, Priya brings strong expertise in talent management, employee engagement, organisational development, HR transformation, and workforce strategy.
