In a fresh push towards workplace automation, Disney has launched an AI Adoption Dashboard for its tech teams, allowing employees to monitor their usage of AI tools like Cursor and Claude.
The dashboard measures key metrics such as active users and tokens spent. It also creates a sense of friendly competition by making AI usage visible across teams.
The initiative is designed to encourage employees to use more AI tools in their daily work. This growing culture has been described by some staffers as “tokenmaxxing.”
However, while interest in AI adoption is rising, concerns are also emerging. Some employees are worried about the increasing costs linked to higher AI usage.
Disney’s move aligns with similar strategies adopted by other major companies like Meta and Visa, which are also promoting AI integration within their operations.
Despite an earlier failed partnership with OpenAI, Disney is continuing to prioritise AI. The company is focusing on expanding its AI efforts, especially as new leadership takes charge.
