
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh interacted with the all-women sailing expedition team of IASV Triveni in New Delhi and lauded their extraordinary achievement and determination.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Singh said their successful sailing expedition is a matter of immense pride for the nation. The Defence Minister said the team has not only conquered the sea through the expedition but has also shattered long-standing stereotypes that questioned women’s ability to undertake complex military operations. He said the expedition has demonstrated that physical capability, mental resilience and leadership are not determined by gender.
Mr Singh said the team’s accomplishment is an inspiration for every daughter of the country. He expressed confidence that their success would encourage more young women to dream big, overcome challenges and contribute to nation-building.
