Strengthening its global people strategy, AZZ Inc. has appointed Rhonda Davenport as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
In her new role, she will lead the company’s global HR strategy, focusing on talent development, organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and workforce transformation as AZZ continues to expand its leadership in metal coating and coil coating solutions across North America.
Rhonda brings more than 30 years of HR leadership experience across manufacturing, technology, industrial services, e-commerce, financial services, and professional services. Throughout her career, she has built high-performing HR teams, led enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, strengthened leadership capabilities, and delivered measurable business outcomes through strategic people programs.
Before joining AZZ Inc., Rhonda served as Chief People Officer at Cain Watters & Associates, where she established the HR function from the ground up. She expanded the people team from 1 to 8 professionals while supporting approximately 370 associates and multiple affiliated organizations.
During her tenure, she led executive recruitment, leadership development, employee engagement, talent acquisition, learning initiatives, benefits optimization, HR technology modernization, workforce planning, and introduced enterprise learning platforms and leadership development programs.
Earlier, Rhonda was Director of Human Resources at Unisys, where she led strategic HR initiatives for global enterprise solutions across multiple business units. She also served as Vice President, Human Resources at Speed Commerce, overseeing HR operations across the United States and Mexico, and previously held the role of Director of Employee Relations at Sirius XM Radio, leading workforce planning, organizational development, change management, and employee relations.
Her earlier career also includes HR leadership roles at The Freeman Company and Speed Commerce, where she built expertise in talent management, labour relations, organizational design, HR technology, leadership coaching, compliance, and culture transformation.
