In a move aimed at accelerating export growth, the Andhra Pradesh government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Aramex, a global logistics and transportation solutions provider. The partnership is designed to strengthen the state’s export ecosystem and support its goal of increasing the number of exporters from 8,000 to 1 lakh within the next 12 months.
The agreement positions Aramex as a strategic logistics and export-enabling partner in Andhra Pradesh’s efforts to develop into a major export hub while helping Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) expand their reach in international markets.
As part of its export promotion strategy, the state government is establishing 3 Export Excellence Centres across Andhra Pradesh. These centres will serve as dedicated hubs where exporters can showcase their products and access support from ecosystem partners across logistics, e-commerce, digital platforms, and market access.
Through the collaboration, Aramex will leverage its global logistics network and trade expertise to help MSMEs strengthen their export capabilities, navigate international trade requirements, and expand into overseas markets.
The initiative will also be supported by Aramex representatives based in the state, enabling exporters to access guidance and resources more effectively as they explore new global opportunities.
The partnership reflects Andhra Pradesh’s continued focus on enhancing export readiness, empowering local businesses, and creating a stronger foundation for international trade growth.
