Poco has confirmed that the Poco F8 Series will launch globally on November twenty six. The event will take place in Bali, Indonesia, and will introduce the Poco F8 Pro and the Poco F8 Ultra. This is the first time the Xiaomi sub brand has shared official information about the new smartphones. Earlier, both devices appeared on certification and benchmarking platforms, hinting at expected features. The series is also expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Eight Elite chipsets.
In a post on X, the official Poco Global account announced that the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra will be unveiled on November twenty six at four in the afternoon local time, which is one thirty in the afternoon in India. The post also highlighted performance as an important focus of the new series.
Although confirmed details are limited, a device with the model number “2510DPC44G” believed to be the Poco F8 Pro was seen on Geekbench. The listing showed ARMv8 architecture and performance cores reaching speeds of four point six one gigahertz. This has led to suggestions that the device may feature the Snapdragon Eight Elite chipset.
Tipster Abhishek Yadav also claimed that the Poco F8 Pro will run on the Snapdragon Eight Elite, while the Poco F8 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon Eight Elite Gen Five chipset.
A leak earlier in the month shared an image of the reported retail box of the Poco F8 Pro. The box displayed “Sound by Bose” branding. The company had already teased an audio partnership with a brand that “starts with B”. Xiaomi’s Redmi K90 series, launched last month, featured the same partnership. This has sparked speculation that the Poco F8 series could be a rebranded version of the China exclusive K90 series.
The leak also suggested that the Poco F8 series might be shipped without a charger. This would be a change from the company’s usual practice of including chargers. For comparison, last year’s Poco F7 Pro came with a ninety watt charger in the box.
