Tech Mahindra partners with AT&T to enhance global network testing solutions

IT services company Tech Mahindra has announced a licensing agreement with AT&T to deliver an advanced automated solution that enables telecom operators to perform network health checks and connectivity tests more efficiently. The collaboration aims to strengthen the reliability and performance of telecom networks worldwide.

Under the agreement, Tech Mahindra will leverage AT&T’s Automated Network Testing (ANT) and Open Tool platforms to transform network testing and certification processes for LTE and 5G networks globally. According to the company, these tools will enable faster, more accurate testing across Long Term Evolution (LTE), 5G Non-Standalone (NSA), and 5G Standalone (SA) domains.

The ANT platform features a user-friendly interface and an automated backend that integrates multiple industry traffic generation tools, streamlining test execution and validation. Meanwhile, the Open Tool simulates data and voice traffic required to certify mobile packet core network functionality in both lab and production environments.

Through this licensing arrangement, Tech Mahindra will offer these solutions to telecom service providers operating outside AT&T’s own markets, supporting global operators in achieving higher standards of network performance and reliability.

Tech Mahindra currently serves over 250 telecom clients across 90 countries, reinforcing its strong position in the global telecommunications sector.

Commenting on the collaboration, Kelly Marlar, Vice President and Managing Director of AT&T Intellectual Property, LLC, said, “Licensing relationships like the one with Tech Mahindra transform our investments into new growth opportunities for AT&T, our licensees, and the industry. By working closely with trusted third parties, AT&T Intellectual Property helps accelerate innovation, drive new revenue streams, and bring proven solutions to market faster.”

The partnership reflects Tech Mahindra’s ongoing focus on innovation and its commitment to supporting telecom operators with next-generation solutions that improve efficiency, performance, and scalability across modern networks.
