A major new addition is coming to the social and dining scene in GIFT City as Bastian Hospitality, co founded by Shilpa Shetty, prepares to launch a large scale food and lifestyle destination at Central Park. The project marks the group’s entry into Gujarat.
The new venue, called Bastian Republic, will manage a food zone spread across 1 lakh square feet in phase 1 of Central Park. The zone will include restaurants, public plazas, event areas, jogging and cycling tracks and a variety of social spaces designed to boost the city’s lifestyle offerings.
Sanjay Kaul, Managing Director and Group CEO of GIFT City, said in an official statement, “The entry of Bastian into GIFT City marks a significant addition to our expanding social ecosystem. Bastian’s presence will bring a new dimension to the city’s lifestyle experience, benefiting professionals, residents, and visitors alike. This development also reflects the growing confidence of marquee brands in GIFT City’s vision as a modern, vibrant, and globally connected urban centre.”
Ranjit Bindra, CEO and Founder of Bastian Hospitality, shared his view on the expansion, stating, “GIFT City represents the future of India a space built on vision, innovation, and global ambition. Along with the Central Park project, Bastian Hospitality is also in advanced discussions with developers to open another outlet inside GIFT City. This will further strengthen the brand’s presence in Gujarat.
With Bastian Republic joining the landscape, GIFT City’s social infrastructure continues to grow. The city already includes international universities, a five star hotel, GIFT City Club and metro connectivity that links it with Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar.
