Tsavorite Scalable Intelligence secures over $100 million in pre-orders for AI chips

AI startup Tsavorite Scalable Intelligence has announced securing more than $100 million in pre-orders from enterprises and cloud providers across the United States, Asia, and Europe for its advanced AI chips designed to scale artificial intelligence workloads.

The company’s flagship innovation, the Omni Processing Unit (OPU), has drawn strong interest from global customers. The OPU integrates central processing units, graphics processing units, memory, and connectivity into a single device, allowing it to be configured for a wide range of markets and applications. This unified compute architecture aims to simplify and optimise how AI workloads are managed across industries.

The increasing complexity of AI systems and models is pushing the global technology sector to explore scalable and efficient solutions. Tsavorite’s OPU addresses key industry challenges, including high power consumption, limited scalability, and the rising costs of infrastructure, paving the way for wider adoption of AI technologies.

Founded in 2023 by former Intel executives and experienced chip industry professionals, Tsavorite has quickly positioned itself as an emerging force in the semiconductor space. The company has not disclosed its current valuation or the total funding it has raised to date.

Tsavorite plans to begin delivering its chips and enterprise-grade AI appliances by next year. These solutions will support advanced agentic AI workflows, enabling businesses to deploy intelligent systems with enhanced performance and reduced operational costs.

Commenting on the company’s vision, CEO Shalesh Thusoo said, “We’ve built the first truly composable, developer-friendly AI platform that delivers step-change gains in efficiency, cost and scale from edge to hyperscale.”

The company has partnered with Samsung’s SF4X platform for the fabrication of its OPU chips, ensuring high performance and energy efficiency.

With its innovative approach to AI hardware design, Tsavorite aims to play a key role in reshaping the global AI infrastructure landscape.
