A major expansion move has been announced as Jubilant Agri and Consumer Products Limited plans to set up a new industrial polymer manufacturing facility in Savli near Vadodara, Gujarat. The company already operates a latex production unit in the same area, and the new facility aims to strengthen its presence in the state as part of its long term growth plans.
The company will invest about Rs 50 crore in this project to enhance its industrial polymer production capabilities. The upcoming unit will focus on manufacturing different types of latexes and adhesives, helping increase overall output while supporting the needs of the Performance Polymers and Chemicals business segment. This expansion is also expected to create new job opportunities and support local economic development in Gujarat.
Speaking about the investment, Mohandeep Singh, CEO and Whole Time Director of Jubilant Agri and Consumer Products Limited, said, “Being one of the fastest growing states in India, Gujarat offers strong market potential for our products and a conducive business environment with a skilled workforce. With this new investment, we aim to expand our industrial polymer production capacity while creating long term value for local communities through employment and skill development opportunities. This polymer facility reinforces our commitment to regional economic growth, industrial self reliance, and the Make in India vision.”
The company currently operates eight manufacturing units and two research and development facilities across India. The new Savli plant will add to its production network and bring manufacturing closer to key consumption markets, supporting faster growth in the western region.
