IT services company Cognizant has expanded its partnership with Rubrik, a security and AI operations firm. The two companies will now offer Business Resilience as a Service for their customers. This global service aims to help organisations recover quickly from cyber incidents and ransomware attacks while keeping business operations running smoothly.
The companies said this service comes at a time when the global AI market is growing fast. Organisations are adopting advanced AI technologies to improve efficiency and gain a competitive edge. This increase in AI adoption is adding more data and more infrastructure. It is also creating a larger attack surface.
The growing risk of cyberattacks means organisations must protect critical data with stronger and more resilient solutions. Cognizant and Rubrik said the rise in ransomware threats makes it important to have quick and reliable recovery systems in place.
Bipul Sinha, Chief Executive Officer, Chairman, and Co founder of Rubrik, said: “Bringing together Rubrik’s AI and security platform with Cognizant’s global delivery scale, our joint customers can quickly recover from cyber incidents with confidence all with a flexible, consumption based model.”
The joint offering aims to reduce downtime and ensure business continuity even during major cybersecurity disruptions.
Ravi Kumar S, Chief Executive Officer of Cognizant, said enterprises today face a mix of cyber threats, compliance needs, and rapid changes driven by AI. He stated: “Through our partnership with Rubrik, we are helping clients move from reactive recovery to proactive resilience. Cognizant’s cloud and infrastructure domain knowledge, deep industry expertise, and cross technology stack integration, alongside Rubrik’s leading security platform, enable organisations to protect their most valuable data assets and accelerate growth securely in the AI era.”
