Devyani Food Industries Limited (DFIL), part of the RJ Corp Group, has appointed Komal Anand as its new Chief Executive Officer. Anand will lead DFIL’s strategic vision, business expansion, and operational excellence across its flagship Cream Bell and Fresh brands, reinforcing the company’s presence in India’s fast-growing food and dairy sector.
Anand brings a distinguished leadership career across India’s FMCG and food service industries. Prior to DFIL, he served as Managing Director at Havmor Ice Cream Pvt Ltd, where he drove market expansion, brand innovation, and supply chain efficiency, positioning Havmor as one of India’s most admired ice cream brands and successfully launching new product categories.
Before Havmor, Anand held senior roles at McCain Foods India Pvt Ltd, including Director of Sales, Marketing & Supply Chain, where he led multi-channel growth strategies, built high-performing teams, and strengthened the company’s footprint across India.
His career also spans impactful leadership positions at PepsiCo, serving as Director – Sales, Beverages & Foods, and Vice President – Beverages (Modern Trade & On-Premise). Anand further contributed to Reliance Retail as Sourcing & Merchandising Head (FMCG) and held key roles at Reckitt Benckiser and Dabur India Limited, managing portfolios across trade marketing, brand management, and sales development.
Across his career, Anand has demonstrated a strong blend of strategic foresight and operational excellence, driving growth, brand equity, and market leadership. His appointment at DFIL underscores the company’s intent to accelerate innovation and strengthen its competitive edge in India’s food and dairy market.
