Tizeti Network Limited, West Africa’s solar-powered internet pioneer, has announced the launch of its New & Awesome (NA) Deal, an AI-driven upgrade to its broadband services aimed at simplifying issue resolution, streamlining onboarding and making payments seamless. The rollout begins on 1 October for fiber customers (FreeFiber.Africa), 15 October for wireless wifi users (Wifi.com.ng), and 1 November for Ghanaian subscribers (GhanaWifi.com).
For 13 years, Tizeti has focused on affordable, unlimited internet, introducing FreeFiber.Africa to deliver unlimited speed faster than 5G or satellite. But recognising that connectivity alone was not enough, the company spent five months collecting feedback and redesigning its model with AI at the core.
Under the NA Deal, customers gain greater control over their services. They can now check connection health, account status and device performance directly from their phones before contacting support. AI instantly identifies callers via their Customer Identification Number (CIN), eliminating lengthy verification. Real-time technician tracking, live service updates on Status.Tizeti.com, and automatic compensation for ISP-controlled issues have also been added.
Payments, often a major challenge, are now frictionless. Through Pay.Tizeti.com, AI agents link transactions to CINs, instantly activating accounts, issuing receipts and updating expiry dates without delays. For Nigerian users, this means faster renewals and uninterrupted service.
“At 13 years old, Tizeti is evolving. We pioneered unlimited internet and introduced unlimited speed. Now, we are redefining service itself. The New & Awesome Deal adapts AI tools to give customers control, speed up resolutions, and make the entire experience – from onboarding to payments – simpler, smarter, and more transparent,” said Kendall Ananyi, CEO of Tizeti.
The initiative reflects Tizeti’s ambition to move beyond basic connectivity and build intelligent, user-focused infrastructure. Globally, telcos such as Reliance Jio in India, Safaricom in Kenya and Orange in Africa have expanded into platforms offering payments, financial services and enterprise solutions. Tizeti sees Africa’s next digital leap following a similar path, where connectivity is the baseline and true value lies in empowering customers with AI-driven tools and seamless digital experiences.
