Emily Linley Appointed as Head of Talent Management, Americas at AXA XL

AXA XL has announced the appointment of Emily Linley as Head of Talent Management, Americas. In this role, she will lead talent development strategies, succession planning, leadership growth and employee engagement across the region. Her efforts will support AXA XL’s commitment to delivering innovative insurance and reinsurance solutions around the world.

Linley steps into this role after serving as Learning and Development Program Manager at AXA XL, where she played a key role in strengthening organisational learning and supporting talent development across various business units.

Before joining AXA XL, Linley spent over three years at Beazley. She held positions including US Early Careers Advisor and Operations Training and Development Program Officer. In these roles, she focused on enhancing graduate programmes, managing training strategies and improving recruitment and retention, with a strong focus on diversity and leadership development.

Earlier in her career, Linley worked at the American Heart Association in several capacities, including Corporate Development Trainer, Consultant for Field Resources and Development Director. Her work included designing onboarding programmes, executing large-scale training initiatives and supporting fundraising development across the Eastern Region.

She also served as Associate Director of Development at Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo, where she led major fundraising events, built corporate partnerships and managed volunteer programmes.

With experience spanning talent development, training, fundraising and leadership growth, Linley brings a well-rounded and people-focused approach to her new position. Her appointment highlights AXA XL’s continued investment in developing its workforce and supporting a culture of performance and growth.
