Panasonic has announced the appointment of Anurag Verma as the Head – IT Infrastructure & Security, further strengthening its leadership team as the company sharpens its focus on digital transformation and operational excellence.
Anurag, who will be based in Mumbai, brings with him over two decades of extensive experience in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital strategy. In his new role, he will lead Panasonic’s efforts to modernize its IT landscape, improve digital resilience, and align infrastructure capabilities with the company’s changing business needs.
His responsibilities will include strengthening the company’s IT backbone, ensuring strong cybersecurity measures, and developing scalable infrastructure solutions that support Panasonic’s long-term growth plans.
Before joining Panasonic, Anurag held senior leadership positions at IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd, Redington India, HCL Infosystems Ltd, and ANAND Group India. Throughout his career, he has successfully led large-scale projects in areas such as cloud adoption, data center modernization, cybersecurity, and IT governance.
An engineering graduate with a degree in information technology, Anurag has deep expertise in cloud technologies, ITIL processes, service delivery optimization, and IT budget management. His strong combination of technical knowledge and business understanding makes him a valuable addition to Panasonic’s digital transformation journey.
With Anurag’s appointment, Panasonic aims to further enhance its IT capabilities and build a strong, secure, and scalable technology foundation that will support its business growth and digital ambitions.
