Nasscom on friday announced the launch of the US CEO Forum in New York, a platform aimed at bringing together top Indian technology CEOs and key US stakeholders. The goal is to foster strategic discussions around innovation, business, policy, and talent development.
In a rapidly changing world marked by digital disruption, cutting-edge technologies, and shifting global dynamics, tech collaboration has become a key focus of bilateral relations. The collaboration will span areas like artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, quantum computing, digital infrastructure, green energy, and resilient supply chains, according to Nasscom.
The United States and India share a highly strategic and forward-looking technology partnership, Nasscom emphasized.
“To deepen this collaboration, Nasscom is launching the US CEO Forum at the Consulate General of India in New York on July 9, 2025. The forum will bring together leading Indian tech CEOs and influential US figures to drive high-level discussions on innovation, business, policy, and talent development,” the organization stated.
The US CEO Forum will not be limited to a single event. It will facilitate continuous engagement across key US tech hubs like Washington DC, San Francisco, and Texas. The aim is to build a network of supporters for Indian technology in the US, promoting growth, co-innovation, and policy alignment.
The forum is envisioned as a premier leadership platform, bringing together leaders from government, business, investment, think tanks, academia, and the Indian diaspora to strengthen India-US tech collaboration. Nasscom noted that the forum aligns with the broader goal of enhancing trade and economic ties, contributing to the \$500 billion bilateral trade target set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump. It highlights the vital role of the tech sector in achieving this target.
“The US CEO Forum will serve as a continuous engagement platform, reinforcing the India-US tech corridor as a foundation for global digital transformation and inclusive economic growth,” the release added.
Rajesh Nambiar, President of Nasscom, called the launch of the US CEO Forum an important milestone in strengthening “Brand India” on the global stage. Indian tech companies, he said, are not just driving digital transformation in the US but also creating jobs, investing in communities, and driving innovation that makes a real impact.
“This Forum will serve as a strategic platform to deepen partnerships, align with key stakeholders, and position Indian tech as a vital contributor to America’s growth story,” Nambiar added.
The forum aims to move the India-US tech partnership from collaboration to co-creation, unlocking the potential of AI, semiconductors, clean tech, and future skills. It will also explore how cross-border partnerships can help build resilient, secure, and innovative digital ecosystems.
“Under the theme ‘India Tech for America’s Growth,’ the Nasscom US CEO Forum positions Indian technology as a strategic partner in shaping the digital age,” the release concluded.
