The company’s market capitalisation now stands at Rs 46,236 crore.
This long-term partnership with Traton Group, a global leader in commercial vehicle manufacturing, will support innovation across its key brands, including Scania, MAN, International, and Volkswagen Truck and Bus.
“This collaboration underscores our commitment to delivering cutting-edge solutions that align with Traton’s vision of sustainable and intelligent transportation,” said Alind Saxena, Executive Director and President of Mobility and Tech at L&T Technology Services. The partnership aims to build a unified and scalable product development platform focused on speed, sustainability, and future-ready mobility.
LTTS will work across advanced engineering areas such as software-defined vehicle architectures, electrified powertrains, autonomous systems, advanced driver-assistance systems, and digital engineering toolchains. These technologies are central to Traton’s mission of delivering smart and sustainable transport solutions.
The partnership includes the delivery of comprehensive engineering services, covering mechanical and software engineering to digital system integration. LTTS will support Traton across its key development hubs in Sweden, Germany, the United States, Poland, and India.
This initiative is expected to significantly boost Traton’s R&D capabilities, helping the company maintain its position at the cutting edge of commercial vehicle innovation. It also aligns with Traton’s long-term targets for 2029, which focus on improved profitability, cross-brand synergies, and a stronger shift towards battery-electric vehicles.
LTTS noted in a stock exchange filing that this collaboration will contribute to building a unified, next-generation product development platform for Traton, driving scale, efficiency, and sustainable outcomes. The company also emphasised its role in helping Traton transform its R&D ecosystem to meet global sustainability goals and create a cleaner transportation future.
