Nothing Launches Headphone (1) with Premium Design at ₹21,999

Consumer tech brand Nothing has launched its first over-ear wireless headphones, Headphone (1), priced at ₹21,999 in India. The headphones were unveiled alongside Phone (3) during the brand’s “Come to Play” event held in London.

Headphone (1) is developed in partnership with British audio company KEF, combining KEF’s 60 years of hi-fi sound expertise with Nothing’s signature transparent design and intuitive physical controls. “We set out to create something that doesn’t just sound great—it feels different the moment you pick it up,” said Adam Bates, Head of Design at Nothing.

The headphones are equipped with a custom 40mm dynamic driver, co-engineered with KEF, which delivers powerful bass, clear mids, and sharp highs. They support Hi-Res Audio, LDAC, USB-C lossless playback, and also include a 3.5mm jack for added flexibility.

Headphone (1) includes on-device spatial audio with head tracking, offering a dynamic 360-degree sound experience that responds to the user’s movement. A precision damping system and high-linearity suspension help reduce distortion for natural and balanced playback.

The adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC) system uses dual feedforward and feedback microphones to adjust in real time based on the surroundings. A dedicated Transparency Mode allows users to hear ambient sounds when needed. For voice calls, a 4-mic AI-powered ENC system trained on over 28 million noise scenarios ensures clear audio in any environment.

Instead of touch controls, Headphone (1) features a Roller, a Paddle, and a multifunction Button for hands-on media control, volume adjustments, and switching ANC modes. The Button can also be customised via the Nothing X app to activate Channel Hop or launch Essential Space for voice notes and quick tasks on Nothing devices.

The app also includes an 8-band Advanced EQ for detailed sound adjustments. Headphone (1) supports dual-device Bluetooth 5.3, low latency, and Fast Pair for easy switching.

Battery life offers up to 35 hours with ANC enabled, and a 5-minute quick charge gives 2.4 hours of playback.

Headphone (1) will be available in Black and White, with sales beginning July 15 across Flipkart, Myntra, Vijay Sales, Croma, and major offline outlets. As a launch offer, it will be priced at ₹19,999 on July 15, with 12-month No-Cost EMI options available through select offline stores.
